trash and food all over sidewalk...smell
is horrible...behind Goldens on the Square. Public is in and out of county building and greeted by this filth. Taxpayers complaining.
Thanks for letting us know. I will investigate and ensure the correct department / personnel is notified and be sure it is taken care of.
It appears one of the trash cans was knocked over or blown over, likely during the storm. I informed the City's Code Enforcement Officer.
This happens every week.....this is not a storm issue...
We have contacted CLM and they will be getting them more cans out there and that should alleviate the issue.
broken sidewalk lights
Issue has been noted on a previous report. Issue has been noted and being worked on. Thanks!!!
Thank you for taking the time to report this concern. The City of Newnan has closed this issue. If the problem persists at this location, please reopen. Thank you again.
There is a two feet by three feet hole in the sidewalk where a drain hole is supposed to be. There used to be a grate over the drain but now it is gone and the drain is open.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will check out this situation.
It needs to be repaired asap it's a potential law suit waiting to happen when someone falls in the drain.
There is also a church at this location where children are endangered. Since it's on a corner, a car can also swerve into the hole and cause a major accident.
A work order has been generated to repair the sidewalk at this location and two additional locations on Dunbar Pl.
House For Rent Sign stuck in the grass between the sidewalk and the street. West intersection of Pine Crescent and Summergrove Pkwy NW corner.
Two tags on the sidewalk.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are diligently trying to stay up with graffiti! We will tinvestigate the tags on the sidewalk and remove them as we can.
What we found was actually on Glenn Street, near the intersection with Farmer Street. Looks like children scratched names into the concrete sidewalk. Does not appear to be gang related, to me. I have forwarded the info to the Street Dept and we will attempt to grind out the markings. We do not want to heavilty impact the surface condition of the sidewalk, so we will see what we can do.
Someone has dumped trash on the Summergrove Pkwy bridge sidewalk. It is partially blocking the sidewalk across the bridge that is narrow enough anyway.
code enforcement has received
No trash was found on the bridge. Flowers, for the memory of the young man who's body was found in the creek, was the only items on the bridge.
So I can put stuff whever I want partially blocking a public sidewalk for any reason that I see fit ? What if someone that is disabled want to go over the bridge ? There isn't enough room to get by.
City cut down trees months ago and left the unsightly stumps. Need to be removed. Also trip hazard on sidewalk from roots. All just 1 1/2 blocks off the courthouse square.
Officers have checked on this vehicle and it is registered to a resident on Covington Terr. The tag is current and has insurance and appears to be in running conditions and has no flat tires. Since this is a private park and the vehicle is not stolen, there is no further action that we can take on this vehicle.
Done looks great!
Please close this issue it has been completed.
Roots from trees are pushing up sidewalk causing a major trip hazard. Also the sidewalk is caving in like a pot hole. This is located right in front of a driveway and could damage a car.
This is dangerous.
Many people trip EVERY DAY on this sidewalk. When will this be fixed?
We will take care of this. Thanks for reporting it.
This work was completed, including removal of the trees and reconstructing the concrete sidewalk.
City cut down trees between curb and sidewalk. Left unsightly stumps sticking up. Please remove ASAP, makes the city look ugly just 1 1/2 blocks off the square.
