Endless loop! The lights are in an endless loop Only enabling traffic to move down Sachem. There is a huge back up on Prospect.
City of New Haven Street Lighting Division assigned this issue to Department of Transportation, Traffic and Parking
This sounds like a "traffic signal" issue not a street light. Please report correctly so the proper department will look at it. T & P is actually very good about correcting signal problems. although you are better off calling them.
This traffic signal is currently being serviced by a contractor. The department has contacted them & they will be sending out a technician to diagnose the problem. For future reference, when reporting problems with traffic signals, please select Traffic Signal. Street Light refers to the lights alongside streets used for night-time illumination. Thanks for the post.
Not a Street Lamp issue
Dumping in front of the community garden in Fairmont Park.
Trash has been removed. Thank you. Wonder if installing cameras would stop some of the dumping?
You have to wonder how much the city pays to pick up after these lowlifes. I believe we could all save money if the city transfer station/dump was free to the citizens, even if just once or twice a year. New Haven has more illegal dumping than any city I have ever lived in.
The City transfer station is free to New Haven residents twice a year, and we encourage residents to bring their bulk trash there. Please contact Public Works at 203-946-7700 to get your vouchers as verified City residents first.
I called the number and they told me just to go to 34 Middletown Ave w/ID to get the vouchers.
This bike was left behind by someone who was later arrested on State Street last night.
Looks like its up for grabs.
Now all that's needed is a Sawz-all to cut the chain. The bike even has the extension bars on the back for carrying a passenger!
No Chain. Its just leaning against the tree. Feel free to take it.
The bike is gone.
The tree stump is on the south side of the street.
The stump is still there.
The tree stump is gone.
The stump is on the east side of the street, adjacent to the back yard of the white house on the corner with Edgewood Avenue.
