Property owner has not shoveled sidewalks after recent storms which has created significant hazard for pedestrians walking along Johnson. Additionally, there are hanging utility wires of some type within arms reach.

this area is impossible to get around - on the playground side nothing is shoveled and on the Acme side the vacant house property isn't shoveled. When people try to walk to/from the Acme they have to go out into street & even that hasn't been plowed well.

Yesterday I received a $75 ticket for having a shrub extending more than 10" over the sidewalk. I was stunned. I have never heard of this violation nor have I received a warning previously. I was surprised too because the front part of my yard that was sited is a rock garden that is well maintained and is the frequent source of compliments from my neighbors. I routinely spend hours planting and maintaining the garden and at considerable expense. Are we to be gardening with a ruler and cutting down plants like rose bushes when they lean towards the light? Is there any consideration given to aesthetics? I walked around my neighborhood and see many lovely hydrangeas, rosebushes, salvia and other plantings that extend over the sidewalk. If these were weeds I can understand. I would hate to see the neighborhood begin to look like gardenless South Philadelphia.
Can reason and judgement be employed in this process?
Do I have any recourse other than to schedule a hearing?

The sidewalks in my area are in desperate need of repair as many of them are broken to the point of nonexistance. The sidewalks on my block, the 500 block of E. Brinton Street, are very hazardous to myself and my neighbors, especially for the children who play outside all year round. Lawsuits will no doubt start to surface against the city when people start to trip and fall on these broken sidewalks, and my neighborhood has many elderly homeowner's as well.

Homeowner does not take care of property. Front porch is falling apart and overgrown trees, hedges and grass block sidewalks for this corner property. This has been an issue for years with this person. L & I should fine this person for the unstable porch roof alone. It could fall and hurt someome. Please address.

Plastic and glass bottles, cans, food, food wrappers, cigarette boxes, cigar wrappers, disposable gloves. newspapers, etc. discarded all over Stenton Ave. and side streets.
Walnut Lane And Johnson St Philadelphia, PA - Mount Airy
Sidewalk is missing. Needs to be replaced. Also, overgrowth & hanging vines & limbs obscure visibility. Very dangerous for pedestrians as this is near traffic coming aroung the Walnut Lane circle. No lighting in that area makes it dangerous to walk--must walk in the street sometimes.
Vernon Road And Blakemore Philadelphia, PA - Mount Airy
There is a set of utility boxes that were taken out by a car last night after the driver crashed into them. One is blocking the sidewalk and the other is severely damaged. Please send someone out to fix. There is also a lot of anti-freeze and oil all over the sidewalk from the genius who crashed.

trash is tossed on sidewalks and street instead of being placed in trash cans.

Abandoned house on otherwise well cared for street. Brush and weeds up to five feet high. Obstructed sidewalk.
Was able to successfully create a 311 report yesterday although that process takes 90 days. We have already been dealing with this for a year. Report number is 1726776.
Weeds are tall enough to conceal a person and obstruct the public walkway at the front of the property.
Property tax search (public) at phila.gov shows the owner to be Todd M Mosser. Property taxes are three years in arrears with two liens filed.
This property is clearly abandoned.
Simple web search shows owner's FB page: https://www.facebook.com/people/Todd-M-Mosser/738143960. Picture confirms that this is the person who used to live there.
Perhaps a letter or email to the owner asking him to address his responsibility?
