Pedestrian walk signals are needed at the intersection of Blount and Peace streets. Crossing Peace going north is particularly difficult because Blount is one way going south, and there is no visible traffic signal to cross with.
We are aware of the situation reported here, and this upgrade is planned to be addressed with a future federally funded project to improve several pedestrian intersections throughout the downtown central business district, in particular with regard to North Blount Street.
