Issues: road safety
26 Chatham Rd Millburn, NJ 07078 - Millburn
Someone is going to get hit by a car on Chatham Road near the Short Hills train station. Each morning, when commuters walk from the parking lot to the train station, cars continue to weave through the pedestrians, ignoring the crosswalks. The situation is compounded by the drivers who park in the crosswalks dropping off people for the train, forcing the pedestrians to fan out across the street. I've never seen any police monitoring the situation.
Hobart Gap Rd Millburn, NJ - Millburn
Drivers continue to make the "right on red" coming off of the Westbound Morris Tpk Service Road and onto Hobart Gap Road. With drivers speeding across the bridge from Summit, it's a very dangerous intersection. There are two "NO TURN ON RED" signs that are ignored. Police could fund their entire 2010 budget by ticketing this corner.
Intersection Of Spring St And Rector St Millburn, NJ - Millburn
The intersection of Rector St and Spring St is unsafe due to speeders coming down Rector St.
Putting in a four-way stop has been suggested to alleviate traffic and reduce the accidents.
