Apparently after 2 days of complaining, Meriden's finest don't care if parked cars prevent emergency vehicles from getting through. Someone needs to die and not have the ambulance reach them before anything might be done. How about some prevention rather than reaction to public safety. Move the parked vehicles off Blackstone Street and Trafford Street. They managed to park somewhere else during last storm. As soon as roads are clear, they are like cockroaches, causing 1 lane traffic again.

Clearview Ave / Casimir Pulaski School Meriden, CT
This is deemed a one way street for through traffic. There are 2 signs that say no parking. Obviously this has been ignored. Lived here for 6 years. Innumerable calls to police yield no action at all. These parents show class by parking in private driveways and using foul language when asked to move and laugh when told authorities have been called. I count 5 cars parked 1 and 3 deep on either side of the street leaving no room for buses to exit. 2 weeks ago a child was almost hit because all the cars blocked the view of crossing children. I might also add that directly behind the "Do Not Enter" sign is a stop sign which even the buses DO NOT STOP for. This is the view every.single.day. Hopefully this post will shame someone with authority to hand out tickets until people learn that you cannot just do whatever you want. This is a school.
21 Tumblebrook Road Meriden, Connecticut
Corner of Tumblebrook Rd and Holiday Hill Rd. Other locations in area:

Uneven/broken pavement on Meadow Way (traffic circle)
Uneven/broken pavement between Meadow Way and Wyndwood Road
W Main St And Lewis Ave Meriden, Ct
When this intersection was redesigned, several parallel parking spaces were painted on Lewis Ave near West Main St, next to the church. When cars park in the space that is closest to W Main St, it creates a hazard. It is extremely difficult for larger vehicles to make a left turn from the eastbound side of W Main onto Lewis Ave. With traffic waiting at the red light on Lewis, there is just barely enough room to get by if a vehicle is parked in this space.

Please make these lights on E Main street flashing yellow/red lights at night. I hate having to sit at a red light for 5 minutes at 3 am when not a single car is around.
511 Kensington Ave Meriden, CT
The street light is out right in front of The Village at Kensington Place. Cars speed up and down this road and as cars are trying to get out of the community, its hard for on coming traffic to see with the street light out. I believe both street lights are out! Very dark and dangerous!
