There's an extremely tall tree on the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street. The tree seems to be ailing and has no branches for roughly the first 40 to 50 feet. My concern is that it is so top heavy and so tall that the roots in that narrow strip of grass cannot possibly hold it up during heavy winds and rain. A smaller tree in a similar situation toppled onto a house at 53 Terrace during Hurricane Irene. This one could do serious damage to several nearby homes.
