Railroad overpass allows no legal / safe method to cross over railroad tracks on 17 Mile Road between Mound Rd and Van Dyke. Please add a bike / walking lane with Jersey barrier type dividers to ensure safety of walkers / bike riders.

Since the speed limit was increased on 10 mile road, I have seen 2 severe accidents with multiple cars. There are also 4 schools relatively near by and I have seen numerous kids walking and on bikes nearly getting hit as people are in a hurry to turn into traffic during morning rush hour.

I live on the corner of hooker and Jefferson Ave. We need a light or at least a blinking light so people are aware that a school and a very busy bike path are in the area. This busy walk way leads right to the nicest park on the water, in Macomb County but people are afraid to use it due to the exccessive speeds. My heart jumps every time a see a child on their bike or a family with a stroller trying to cross the street to the bike path on the water side. We need to see more police presence and perhaps more tickets given out, Maybe the Chesterfield police could be on bikes themselves. we could really use bike patrols in the area for the neighborhood families that use this area. Besides with the price of gas-it could save the township some money.

When traveling Northbound on Old Van Dyke, there's no stop sign at Campground. For vehicles heading to Campground, there's no need to reduce your speed. The problem is that if a biker is heading Northbound on the path, they're coming from the left, and in the driver's blind spot. It's just a matter of time before there's a bike/car accident here.

When cars are turning left on Altman from Jefferson other cars pass on the right. This is a bike lane NOT a passing lane. We need signs posted here to remind drivers as I have watched bikers swerve out of the way to not get hit.

Residents north of Metro Parkway do not have pedestrian access to all of the community's beautiful green ways.
Please install side walks (or bike lanes?) along Jefferson (Between Metro Pkwy & S. River Rd), and eventually continue the path to east & west South River Road.
Currently there is no other option than to walk/bike on the edge of the 45mph road. Very dangerous, particularly near the gas station near Metro.

This is the main street out of the sub and the only light for bikers and pedestrians to cross 12 mile out of the sub. It is now very dangerous crossing, turning left in a car in or out. PLEASE PUT THE FULL LIGHT BACK

the sign on the shoulder has been left there for months and needs to be picked up. they make it a hazard for bikers and walkers trying to manuver around them
Macomb Orchard Trail Washington, MI 48094, USA
Drivers southbound on Van Dyke who make a right turn on 28 Mile Rd are supposed to yield to pedestrians at the signal.
The problem is that cyclists on the Orchard bike trail do not slow down as they approach the crossing. Due to trees, bushes etc, drivers have approx 3 seconds to realize there is a cyclist about to ride full speed across the intersection.
With everything else needing a driver's attention it is very easy to NOT see cyclists in this very small time window.
Drivers Northbound on Van Dyke turning LEFT (west) onto 28 Mile Rd can find themselves in the middle of the oncoming traffic lane as a cyclist appears.
I suggest STOP signs be installed on the bike trail such that drivers have MUCH more time to become aware of cyclists.
