Several months ago, the city filled the potholes on Ogden Street after I reported them on this site. However, the potholes have reopened again. The patches simply do not last very long. This street really needs to be totally repaved. There are also potholes around the corner on Prospect Street between Ogden Street and East Rock Road, and the storm drain at the corner of Ogden and Prospect is clogged, with the pavement collapsing around it.

Huge tree stump left after City tree removal this winter on the north sidewalk of Highland between Autumn Street & Edgehill Road (closer to Edgehill).

6 Sheldon Terrace: rear of address has abandoned red Ford van (hasn't moved in over a year and tires are flat) and household trash --- mattresses, couches, tables, etc. (since November)

If this Hydrant is cleared, could you please change the issue status to closed with a comment?
If it needs to be cleared, would you post a comment letting us know?

Chipping & Brush Piles

Pavement around Manhole has deteriorated; each week it gets worse. In southerly travel lane on Whitney Ave and hard to miss because of heavy traffic.

This issue has been reported several times already.
Pleas consider my request an addition to those similar requests.
Burns Road has still not been plowed successfully.
I and several other Burns Road residents shoveled an entire lane on the street.
We did this for access reasons and also to assist the plows so that they could clear the snow from the street more easily.
However, the plows only came twice and they plowed over we had already shoveled.
Half of the road is still full of snow..
Burns Road residents did not have enough parking spaces before the storm and we now have even fewer parking spaces available.
In addition to the scarce parking problem, we now have other East Rock residents parking their vehicles in the few spaces on Burns Road.

I live at 93 Sheffield Ave. (the corner of Sheffield & Starr (the block in between Sheffield & Sheldon Terrace)

During the storm, we were told to park our cars on the even side of the road so that the City of New Haven can come through and plow a passable lane and then they would come back and clear the odd side of the road, which would allow for more parking, I would assume. We have complied to their instructions!

We normally park our cars on the odd side of Starr Street (the entrance we use going in and out of our home). My parents had to have a "Handicap" sign installed on this side which is easier for them to get in & out the the house.

NOW we are told that the "clean up" has ended!!! I feel that this is not fair to those that were obedient to the commands of our city. I also feel that we, as tax paying residents, have been LIED to by our Mayor and the City of New Haven.

My parents need to be able to park at their "Handicap" sign. If nothing else, please grant them that ability.
