Extending the greenway across Webb Bridge road is great! Adding the sidewalk between Westwind and Lake Windward Drive is also great.
As I understand these projects, there will be a connection to the Greenway on the south side of Webb Bridge Road and no connection on the north side of Webb Bridge Road. There will also be a "missing link" of sidewalk between Westwind and the Greenway.
I have two concerns:
First, pedestrians from Windward will likely use the sidewalk on the north side of Webb Bridge Road and cross WBR at Westwind to get to the Greenway. This will create a potential safety hazard.
Second, the additional sidewalk will also result in more bicycle traffic. Because of proximity to the paved greenway both drivers and cyclists are confused about where they should be riding. The sidewalk is for pedestrians only, it is not wide enough for bikes. Bikes should use the road as your "share the road" sign indicates. Unfortunately most cyclists are are either uninformed or afraid to use the road and ride on the pedestrian sidewalk. This is a significant hill and some of the cyclists ride the sidewalk at high speed. This is a hazard for pedestrians, particularly when walking a dog that gets startled. The other problem is drivers, I am an avid cyclist myself and frequently ride this stretch, always in the road as near the edge of the road as is safe depending on how much debris is near the curb. Many drivers believe that bikes should be on the pedestrian sidewalks. Drivers frequently blow their horn or shout at me to get on the sidewalk where I belong, or even in a few instances throw things at me. I don't mind kids riding on the sidewalk but adults don't belong there.
Bike traffic traveling from Lake Windward Drive to the greenway will ride on the north side of WBR and also have to cross WBR near Westwind to get to the greenway.
I think the best solution is to clearly mark bike lanes on the road in this area so both bikers and drivers know that is where the bikes belong and to complete the missing link on the north side of WBR and provide access to the greenway on that side also. If that is not possible then a pedestrian crosswalk may be needed on WBR at Westwind.
I look forward to your feedback, perhaps you have already addressed this, if so thank you. These comments are based on my current understanding of the projects.
Sorry for the long message but I wanted to provide a clear explanation.

THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ROAD. TRAFFIC LIGHTS NEED TO BE PUT UP AT THIS INTERSECTION. THE CLOSEST TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE NEAR BIG LOTS CLOSER TO WINDWARD AND CVS. CARS GETTING FROM VAUGHN TO ALPHARETTA HWY TRY TO TURN RIGHT AND LEFT QUICKLY AND IS USUALLY BACKED UP AND PEOPLE WILL GET HURT WHEN ACCIDENT OCCURED.

Traffic backs up. Two left turn lanes mean that the few cars tuning left clear the sensor in half the time. Need to add a second right turn lane or block he second left turn lane or sensor the eight turn lane so the green lasts longer.
Kimball Bridge Rd And Rock Mill Rd Alpharetta, GA 30022, USA - Alpharetta
The left turn signal has not been working for some time now. Going west on Kimball Bridge Rd onto Rock Mill Rd.
This could be a safety concern when people get frustrated waiting for a chance to turn during rush hour.
North Point Parkway Alpharetta, GA 30005, USA - Alpharetta
Due to Web Bridge Road being closed the traffic light at Old Milton Parkway and North Point Parkway needs to be reconfigured.
Left hand turn signal on North Point going eastbound on Old Milton needs to be longer.
The increased traffic makes it impossible for traffic to get out of parking lot of Staybridge Suites Hotel.
Mid Broadwell Road Alpharetta, GA 30004, USA - Alpharetta
Street light is blocked by trees right before the big curve at Dogwood Acres heading West between Steeplechase & Fuller Farm. Tree needs to be trimmed back so the light can do it's job!
Webb Bridge Road And North Point Parkway Alpharetta, GA - Alpharetta
Driving south on North Point Pkwy, approaching the intersection of Webb Bridge Rd, especially in the left lane, the traffic light is not visible on approach due to the crape myrtle trees blocking the view. A new light situated to the right side of the intersection or, at worst, the removal of the trees will fix the issue.
Intersection Of Cumming Street And Jayne Ellen Way - Alpharetta
Type: Traffic safety issue.
Cause: Large bushes blocking the line of sight of oncoming traffic.
Result: When leaving Jayne Ellen Way and turning Eastbound onto @#$% Street, it is impossible to see the cars coming Eastbound towards you on @#$% Street until they are upon you. The large bushes are blocking the line of sight of the oncoming traffic. Very dangerous. This problem did not exist before, until these large shrubs were planted.
