At the mcdonalds at night eg right now there is excessive speeding and racing down the street late at night and loitering from 10pm-2am in the parking lot revving up car engines etc police have been notified but have yet to make a permanant solution if you live close to here its impossible to sleep. Torrington cops need to do their job and do something about this.

cars parking on the sidewalks so you have to walk in the street to get by. Sunday a cop drove by and didn't even bother with the 4 cars parked on the sidewalks. we have a law that never gets enforced.

The road is full of potholes that constantly get filled which lasts about 2 weeks. Several complaints have been made on the same issue on the website and obviously filling the potholes isnt the solution! Roads become dangerous when other people drive on the opposite side of the road to avoid them. Greenwoods road was dug up and repaved, why cant cedar lane be repaved. The road is only about 1 mile long before you reach new hartford so its not like it would be a huge job!

Cars are constantly parked right on the apex of this small hill, and you cannot see whether or not there are cars coming in the other direction. The road is so narrow that it's nearly impossible to squeeze between if there's a car parked on the side of the road. A simple no parking sign would fix the issue.

Have to wait too long for traffic light to change coming out of Yorkshire St. I have to go back & forth over the trip to change it. It takes a long time to change if you just stay at the line, like someone said. Also cars cutting the corner & speeding down Yorkshire St. Also when pushing the button to cross E. Main St., it takes too long for the light to change.
21-29 Roosevelt Ave Torrington, CT 06790, USA - Torrington
Vehicles routinely appear to be riding rails around the corner from French St and racing uphill on Roosevelt Ave, some barely slowing after coming around the corner.
Acceleration of the vehicles can bring vehicles flying past at 40 MPH or better, even during daylight hours when children are visible in the yards of numerous homes, children walking home from school and teens riding bikes downhill in the street.
Weekend nights are a free for all for motorcycles.
