From Progress Energy:
Thank you also for being so diligent in reporting this problem to us. We have reported this directly to our lighting department and we will repair the problem as quickly as possible. The timeframe for repair of these lights is usually completed within 3 business days. If, however, there is an underground problem, it may take longer to repair as digging and repair of underground cable may be necessary. If this is true, we will place a yellow tag on the light noting that this is the case. For your records, please retain the following streetlight outage confirmation numbers.
