Mayor Dwight Jones, I have been laid off my job since Feburary, 2009!!. Since then I have been working part time jobs that always seems to come to an end! I have been applying for a full time job since 2009 and have been unsuccessful. What's discombobulating to me is that I see a lot job availability in Richmond. But, why is it that there is so many people that's still unemployed?? I'm having a hard time believing that I'm not qualified for any of the jobs I've been applying for in Richmond VA. I'm not even qualified for temporary assistance? I feel like something should be done about that. How is it I'm applying weekly, sometimes daily and I'm not qualified for any jobs. I'm not even granted an interview. I'm applying for retail, maufacturing, light industrial etc.. that's just to name a few. What do I need to do. I'm currently attending VCU majoring in Business. What do I need to do to get a job. All i'm asking for is employment. I've done the workforce center, unemployment office, resume writing class etc. What else do I need to do besides PRAY!!. I know for a fact that I'm qualified to work for someone or somewhere. I've moved to Richmond VA 8/1998 to work for Qimonda IFR. I really like Richmond! I really don't want to relocate. Help!!!

2 yrs ago when those heavy trucks were putting in new gas lines they crack up the street fron Colorado ave to Kansas ave and they just left and the street are getting worser Please tell them to come back and replace to the way they found it
