While the reason for the traffic tie-ups are individually tragic, they are a collective nuisance, particularly during rush hour.
Now, I notice these events are also wasting additional City assets - supposedly in short supply - because this morning a COP shielded the left lane for the cars of attendants for a service.
This needs to stop. If the home can't manage their events to at least avoid peak traffic hours (weekends, too) they should not be allowed to operate there.
The city needs to stop wasting police time with this.

Chronic overflowing dumpsters at loading dock of Parkway House.

The people at 2002 Parrish Street continue to store their trash & recycling in front of their building. This has been going on for a while now. They also don't bag their trash so the collectors don't always take it all.

Cleaning staff at St. Stephens Green (a bar/restaurant) dump their dirty water into the drain at the corner of 17th and Green every morning at approximately 7 AM. This is polluting the drain and is prohibited.

This home is a blight on the street - the city posted a notice on the garage door within the past year, but the owner/resident (though there never are lights on, and you never see anyone coming/going, there is absolutely a person who is living/squatting in there) scraped it off. Have any steps been taken to enforce proper care of this home?
Taney And Aspen Philadelphia, PA
A few of the same cars park on the sidewalk of Taney at Aspen Street every single night. This blocks the sidewalk for pedestrians.

The 1500 Spring Garden building has charter busses that take people to and from the train station, they are operated by a company called DLC. While the DLC buses are loading and unloading at 1500 Spring Garden they stop in the bicycle lane and right hand traffic lane. This causes major traffic problems in the area and is unsafe. I saw a guy on a bike today almost get hit by one of the DLC buses.
Maybe if buses did this around the corner on the less busy 15th street side of the building it would be better.
Last year I spoke to someone at the police department and they said whenever I see it to call 911.
