Chronic issue with illegally street parked cars in marked "no parking zones”, some possessing handicap or city permits. This is not only disrupting bi-weekly street cleaning, but we are consistently finding these cars blocking access to our two driveways. We require 24 hour access to our driveways as they serve both residents and a busy medical office.
We under stand permits allow for parking during official business but the street and curbs often go without sweeping because cars will remain parked for days and even a week without moving. That does not seem to coincide with permitted use.
Other cars without permits place official orange envelopes under their wipers to make it appear the car has already been cited.
Please help get the area cleared of these vehicles on a regular basis so we may keep the properties clear of debris and maintain access to our driveways.
311 had been notified but the 70th precinct did not fully understand our complaint as a chronic issue. SR # 1-1-969376131

Thanks! Thanked!2-40 Dekoven Court Kings, New YorkThe residents of DeKoven Ct requested that parking be prohibited to increase safety when turning from DeKoven onto Rugby, however the sign was installed in the wrong place (the SE corner of the intersection on DeKoven), blocking out 2-3 valuable parking spaces that are no longer available for residents to use. New signs were installed in the correct spot on Rugby (NE corner, on Rugby Rd) , but the incorrectly placed sign remains and now we have lost 6 spots total. I don't have a driveway and street parking is critical for my family. How do I go about getting the sign on DeKoven that should never have been placed, removed? Thanks in advance.

Almost every school day between 3:15 and 4:30 PM unlicensed street vendors selling Marino ices station themselves near the Mr. Softee truck outside of the PS 217 playground and on weekends, these unlicensed vendors sometimes go into the playground.
While the man who has the Mr. Softee truck has serviced the neighborhood for 21 years as a licensed vendor who obeys the health code, city vendor laws, and pays taxes on what he makes, the people running these carts do not pay for licenses, serve ices and ice cream without wearing gloves or hats and I suspect are not paying taxes on what they make.
For both health reasons and to support those who play by the rules, there really needs to be enforcement of the licensing laws on a consistent basis

Please assist in removing the bin. Thank you.
