Rest Area New Baltimore, MI 48047, USA
I-94 at approximately mile marker 245.5 has 2 abandoned weigh stations, one for each direction of travel. The buildings were removed 15 or 20 years ago. Last year when I counted, the state had 13 signs that either announced the weigh stations or stated that they were closed. With the lack of truck stops and available truck parking between Port Huron and Detroit, these areas should be paved for commercial truck parking.

Who is the genius who decided that the people entering the freeway from a 55 MPH road should now yield to traffic coming from a dead stop?
I have seen many "close calls" since these signs were moved.

Right turn lanes are needed on both sides of 23 mi. Traffic is always backed up, when they could be turning . This should have been done when the changes on Callens and 23 were made. Waste of GAS
Even a turn signal would work!! We need ti move traffic better.
Carriage Way & Gratiot Chesterfield Twp, MI
While making a southbound turn onto Gratiot off Carriage Way the light timing is way off. No traffic on Gratiot either north or southbound but the light stays red for Carriage Way. This has to be fixed. I have seen people just turn left on red light.

It is very frustrating to have to wait that long for the light to change.

Can we get some police enforcement or traffic cameras in this intersection? I see people flying through this red light on an every day basis. We have almost been hit 5 times in the last 6 months by people who refuse to stop at this signal. It is very dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians. Something needs to be done to get drivers to pay attention to this traffic signal!

Please please please get rid of the light at this intersection or at the very least turn it into a flashing yellow for Gratiot. There is never any traffic waiting to turn onto Gratiot from 25 Mile whenever I've been stopped here to wait. The county is stopping traffic for no reason and I can't understand why there would have been a need to put a light here!

The speed limit on Donner Road needs to be reduced. There are places where there aren't any sidewalks and when you get close to Cotton Road, there is hardly a shoulder. Some walker/jogger/bike rider could get hit. Also, cars going in both directions, will floor it after going around the sharp curve traveling at 50-60 mph. Back when this was a dirt road and hardly anyone living here, 45 was fine. But now that it is all paved and there are many more people living here, it needs to be changed. There is a lot more traffic on this road because it is a shortcut to 23 Mile.
