632 E Whitaker Mill Rd Raleigh, North Carolina
Again today, a construction vehicle is completely blocking the sidewalk at this address. This has been constant for this job site.
Here is the last issue I filed for this address, last week:
Perhaps in response to being asked to stop, this one has put out cones, and generic CAUTION tape. As far as I know, putting out cones and tape doesn't give someone the right to park illegally, but let me know if that is not correct.
I have now filed 4 SeeClickFix tickets for this same house, same behavior. I've called RPD 3 times. The problem continues.
We have now had to contact our city councilperson about this, as calling RPD non-emergency and posting here is not stopping the behavior.

The construction workers at this job site have taken to parking their trucks on the sidewalk each day. This forces pedestrians into the 4 lane road, needlessly putting lives at risk. They've been warned several times by RPD, but have not stopped.
This has been happening consistently for weeks. Please see my last report here, which documents several other incidents at the very same address:
I'd like to know what actions can be taken to address this issue on an ongoing basis. I should not have to report every incident here and to the non-emergency number in order for RPD to enforce basic traffic laws.

This auto repair shop has parked a jeep right on the sidewalk, preventing pedestrian access.
Please note this business' direct neighbor is an elderly home, which has several folks in wheelchairs who would like to use this route.
Sadly, a Raleigh Police SVU with 2 officers drove by as I took this photo, but did not care to stop. Unfortunately this seems to be a pattern with RPD.

Our yard waste was not collected yesterday during its normal collection day.
I am not able to report it via the phone number given on the City website because the City phone system is currently undergoing maintenance (an automated message says to call back).

A truck is currently parked on the sidewalk at 712 E Whitaker Mill Rd, blocking pedestrian access to the sidewalk completely.
It should be noted that this has become a near daily occurrence on E Whitaker Mill Rd, and in the surrounding neighborhood. Its clear that traffic laws with regards to parking on the sidewalk are not being respected. This is the second report I have filed with See Click Fix about trucks parking on the sidewalk on this very same block.
Frustratingly, an RPD officer drove right by this scene moments before I took these photos, but ignored it. It feels like ensuring pedestrian access to the sidewalk is not a priority for the Raleigh Police.
As we all work together to make Raleigh a healthier city, how can we ensure that pedestrian access is given the same priority as vehicles, without citizens having to report every infraction on this website?
Ensuring that cars aren't parking on the sidewalks is a small step that we can certainly take. How can we work together to make sure the RPD is enforcing the law in these cases?
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, and ongoing concern for pedestrian safety in Raleigh.
1708 Fairview Rd Raleigh, North CarolinaThe new LED street lights are really intense on Fairview Rd. Kids are having a little trouble sleeping. Any way they can be either dimmed or shaded?
2304 White Oak Road Raleigh, North CarolinaAfter storm on 4/22, tree has severe lean causing low limb
over White Oak Road which might impede taller vehicles. Tree
also appears to have significant chance of falling into roadway.
1700 Patten Road Raleigh, North CarolinaThere's a tree limb hanging down from a tree in the back of 1700 Patton that blocks the sight line up Wake Forest Road when you're sitting at the intersection of Georgetown and Wake Forest.
