Thanks! Thanked!Whitney Ave And Audubon St New Haven, Connecticut
Construction of the Whitney and Audubon Complete Streets Project has begun this week. We are asking for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers to use caution when navigating through this area throughout the construction period. Barring any delays, the project is expected to be completed by August 20th.. A graphic rendering of the project has been included to show how it will look upon completion. Thank you for your continued patience throughout the construction of this traffic calming, safety-enhanced pedestrian crossing in Downtown New Haven!
Thanks! Thanked!1120 Chapel St New Haven, CT 06510, USA
There was a tree removed from the bed on the sidewalk on Chapel street here right in front of where Scoozi used to be. When the tree was removed the stump was not completely cut down, making it hazardous for clumsy pedestrians like myself. Definitely ate it on Saturday evening. Granted I was not paying as close of attention as I could have been, but I have a feeling I'm not alone in that.
Me and my banged up and bruised knees would greatly appreciate this being taken care of. Thank you!

5:25 on 7.16.14 Cars are double parking on College in front of High School, near corner of Crown, blocking and diverting traffic that increases congestion, driver confusion and traffic delays :
1. creates one lane [of congestion] on College blocking and the turn (only) left on George and one straight lane.
2. Blocks and prevents a left turn from Crown onto College left lane. Forces cars into one "center" lane onto College. Blocks Crown Street traffic.
3. This is a heavily congested, poorly timed lighting area during rush hours, now with added construction blockage on College at Shubert and between Crown and George with lost capacity. (15 minutes from Crown Garage exit to 91 ramp).
300 George Street New Haven, Connecticut
With the construction happening on College the road is narrowed, slightly redirected and the parking closed. However every day people park in front of this business to drop off someone or sometime even to go inside. This causes a danger for anyone driving on George.
The city should make management at 300 George have someone out there during rush hour to make sure no cars or trucks stop or stand in the (now) driving lane.

Given the construction traffic shift signs and the reprinted lines on the street and the bags on the parking meter, I think this is supposed to be an active lane of traffic now, and the police department needs to actively enforce it as such rather than let illegally parked cars cause a dangerous bottleneck.

Car parked in tow zone during rush hour causing problems.
Cars frequently park here illegally. Why is there never enforcement?
