Cedar Lake Trail Minneapolis, MN 55405, USA -
Kenwood
The painted lines are fading. The last time the lines were painted, the spacing was very inconsistant. At some places on the single strip of blacktop portions of the trail, the lines are divided evenly between the East bike lane, the West bike lane and the Ped lane. But the lines wander, so that sometimes the Ped lane is half the total width of the trail, and at times the bike E/W portions dwindle down to just over a couple of feet. It is at best, disconcerting; at worst, a potential hazard. In addition, at the Theo Worth Bridge, there is no line bringing the Ped trail into the multi-use trail just West of the bridge. Consequently, the unwary Eastbound bicyclist suddenly finds him/her self in the Ped lane, no warning. Again, this is a hazard.
