This fire hydrant on the corner of E Dauphin St and Amber St has been leaking for weeks. Green mold has grown in the standing water.
Called this in to PWD about three weeks ago. Then followed up. They definitely know about it. Saw a PWD truck stop by and a guy bang on the top of the hydrant about two times, then get right back into the truck. It's a broken hydrant and it can't be shut off manually (according to PWD) the job ticket is still open, but you could call PWD and try to get an ETA of the repair/new hydrant installation. Why getting a new hydrant would take close to a month already I have no idea.

Is the fire hydrant knocked over?
