I appreciate the new Yawkey station, however it has made one problem much worse: Most of the passengers who use the stairs from the station to Beacon St must cross Beacon, and there are no crosswalks at this location. The crosswalk does not need to be substantial, and the passengers using the stairs do not require handicapped accessible accommodations, however there should be a crosswalk at this location. Ideally this crosswalk would connect somewhere between the stairs from Yawkey station, and the stairs to Blanford Mall at Boston University. This is a path that is used by a large percentage of the rail passengers, and the current conditions are unsafe.

If this is not the appropriate outlet for this request, please let me know who I should contact to get a crosswalk installed at this location.
