I appreciate the effort to fix the pothole, however, this issue was reported as a drainage issue for a reason. It is not an inconvenient pothole, it is a major drainage problem that is eroding my property and undermining the road. This has been an issue for the 7 years that I have lived here. The roadside soil will wash out over the next few rains, the new asphalt patch will crumble away as the soil beneath it disappears, then the county will dump more dirt and patch the "pothole" and the cycle will continue. Wash, rinse and repeat. This issue needs to be FIXED instead of continually treating the symptom. Sooner or later I will need to deal with the many yards of dirt that have washed into my property. An effort that I will have to expend energy on because the roadway drainage is not maintained properly. I understand that there are a lot of roadway issues out there right now and I appreciate everyone's hard work as they continue to remedy some of the problems. That being said, this issue is not just an inconvenience and frustrating mess, it becomes a serious safety issue when the road washes out. If a car hits the hole after it washes out again it could easily result in a roll over down the hill. Please take the time to assess this issue and see the totality of the situation so the resources can be allocated to fix it. Thank you.
