Tree in front of 401 Greenwich Ave.--in the City Point Neighborhood--is dead and needs to be removed.
Is that like a "homeless" tree?
It is not in City Point. It is in the Hill.
City Point is a place marker on a map.
A place marker on a map--that marks a place/neighborhood called City Point (comprising the former "point" or peninsula bounded by Greenwich Ave., Hallock Ave., & South Water Street. http://www.mapquest.com/?version=1.0&hk=1-xrFQWhSE
No, Chris. It marks the point of land that the oyster boat captains looked for. That's all "City Point" is. A point of land that was named by sea captains bringing in food for the people of the Hill neighnorhood
CITY POINT is the name of a neighborhood laid out by the Hallock family in 1868 on the "point" [peninsula] formerly called Oyster Point. If you can provide actual DOCUMENTATION (rather than extraordinarily misinformed opinion) to the contrary I'd be quite interested. http://www.citypointnewhavenconnecticut.net/
Tree removed, thanks.
