The pothole is in the Raleigh City Limits. It is on Lassiter Mill Road, across the road from the North Hills Shopping Complex. It is on the northern leg of the intersection of Lassiter Mill Road and Six Forks Road. See original submittal.
I have asked Public Works to take another look at this issue. The most recent information received is that the pothole is on Lassiter Mills. If it is on Six Forks Road it is maintained by State NCDOT. Please contact Jason Holmes at 919 - 733-4768. Thank you.

This issue falls under the jurisdiction of the NCDOT. We have notified the District Engineer. NCDOT does not currently monitor SeeClickFix inquiries and has requested that we direct you to call (919) 733-4768 or submit your request using the Contact Us link on the NCDOT site at http://www.ncdot.gov/contact/.
The pothole is within the Raleigh city limits and the City was informed of the service deficiency by a citizen that took the time to report it. Therefore we expect the City of Raleigh to quit passing the buck and to handle the issue by notifying NCDOT. We're expecting a far higher level of service than the City of Raleigh representative in this forum is providing.
A number of See Click Fix items have been lost in the system and are now just being recovered. My apologies for the long delay in responding!!!
You are correct that this road is in the City limits, but the City has no jurisdiction to repair it, because it is owned and maintained by the State of NC. We can, and do, notify NCDOT when we hear of a maintenance problem on a state-system street, and you certainly can follow up with them as well, but we have no ability to compel the State to take action on their infrastructure. On city-owned streets we will take action to make repairs and will track that here in this forum, but because we have no control over when NCDOT will respond we do not track their activity on See Click Fix, and they have chosen not to use the tool as of this time.
