Spending way overboard on the field this year. Like to know who authorized alll the man hours and equipment to fill in the park which is in a flood zone. No added height, to the land down here. I thought it was the ruling. Must be just for a certain few.
Maybe at the end of summer the lady supervisor, who found time to get the stop sign on Lawrenceville street. so quickly can give a report on how many speeding tickets were issued on Larenceville street and Esopus Ave,and including Orlando st. I know she'll be right there if someone gets killed, saying we have to do something about it.
Jim Quigley is suppose to be good with numbers. See if he can give you a run down on the dozer and the front end loader and the bob cat and the 3 dump trucks that hauled all day long, at least 30 loads, of fill, 5 to 7men working all day , then on the second day there was more employees . Is there that much money in recreation to be squander If this is a town park, lets get it under the rulings of the other parks in the town system. Or is there a class system being formed. Everything seems to work out easier and cost effect, when it is nipped in the bud as the saying goes. If you can't see the problem forming, your occuping the wrong position. Seems like we're getting a lot of blind people in office lately. If the shoe fits wear it.

Sank,
For the record, filling in the dip in the outfield was a request by the Towns Recreation Director for a safety reason that is the only reason the highway dept filled it in. I doubt this is going to cause more flooding in the neighbor hood or at your house. The dirt we used was waste fill left over from other projects that did not cost us anything. The dozer was loaned to the Town at no cost from the Town of Saugerties. There was the cost of labor, fuel and ware and tare on our equipment as there is on any project we do throughout the Town. If the equipment was not running there it would be running in another section of Town. For the record we spend time and our resources at all the other parks with in the Town of Ulster on a yearly basis. As far as the speeding and issues with the Ball Filed and the people that go in and out of there I understand it completely not living that far away and wouldn’t be happy about what goes on there either if my family live there. I know the Town Police receives the SeeClick Fix notification but I will follow up with them personally.
