Description

At any point during the day, one can look upon the corner of George and Day (in front of Cecelia's Deli) and see apparent drug activity. A group of young men, who also loiter at Waverly Townhomes on Day St., are seen standing on the corner for hours at a time, making transactions to passerby's and cars that pull up to the corner. The warmer weather has only exacerbated the problem. It appears that people use the store as a front for the activity, entering the store after making a hand-off. Constant loitering is leading to litter, noise, and often times a hostile environment. It appears the operators of Cecelia's may be involved with these young men, as they are seen talking and socializing often.
