With all of the improvements and changes being done downtown in Huntsville, one of the biggest eyesores I see is the gigantic substation over beside the Embassy Suites and the public library. I realize that it is a necessity to have this here but the issue is that there is nothing done to disguise or at least make this thing less of a blemish on an area that the city is trying to beautify. The substation at Sparkman and Pulaski Pike has at least some walls that hide it. Could something like that be done to the one downtown?
