The park as still not been cleaned up 11 days after this notice was posted and almost a month since the original notice was posted. The garbage has NOT been cleaned up and another homeless person is camping in the park. Thank you Quan and Public Works for you basic lack of concern for the people and property of Oakland. I am posting some photos.

Come on Quan, are you not cleaning up a park at one of the busiest intersections in the city because it isn't in your 100 blocks or because Public Works just isn't a priority for you? If our parks and the children, and people that use these parks are not important to you, then what are you doing running for office?

Another week and with the race going on just across the street you would think that someone in the Quan group might have the "brilliant" idea to clean up the neighborhood. If you thought that would happen I have a big orange bridge to sell you.

I have a proposal. I will clean up this park if you let me make a Vote For Quan poster of all the junk? I will only leave it up for a week and then I will pay to have it removed. What the heck Quannie, it is only one of the busiest intersections in the city and you don't seem to have anyone else interested or capable enough to get the job done.

Another week of PW's incompetence. You have to wonder about the people in charge of park maintenance that have missed this garbage dump FOR OVER A MONTH AND A HALF not. But what else would you expect from the Quan administration? If it isn't in the "100 Block" space in Quan's fantasy land then it doesn't matter (a clue is that 99.99999% of Oakland doesn't matter to Quan...in my opinion.)

Vote for Quan if you want homeless encampments and garbage dumps in your parks.
