Description

Claremont Ave was signed with No Parking for Leaf pick up for Wednesday, Feb 26th. Although trucks were around picking up leaves, the leaves I raked to the curb right under the sign were not picked up.

This was the case on several streets. For example, Faquier Ave had signs on both sides for Wed and Thurs. On Thurs, shortly after 1:00, I saw two guys in a city truck taking the signs down, though the street had not been cleaned on either side.

Actually some time Wed my little leaf piles on the Fauquier side of my corner did get picked up. So possibly it was a haphazard cleaning this time.

How do you define closed? The leaf piles on Claremont are still there.
