Description

18th Street between South and Fitzwater is filthy and unsanitary. Paying a lot of money to live around here and it shouldn't look like this.

The whole neighborhood is trashed since the snow melted but that is especially trashy. I've gotten results in the past by posting house numbers. BTW your comment is hilarious. If you care so much you should clean it up yourself, set a good example.

I took the same pictures on 16th between south and bainbridge. I was going to post them here to see if there is any way to get the city to do something about residents who don't keep their fronts in decent condition. I thought the city was supposed to fine owners that don't clean up their properties?

If found that the city on (rare) occasions will fine for trash left out on a non-collection day. Never heard of a ticket being issued for general curbside litter. This on the other hand is really bad. I would post the house number and make the suggestion in your post that the city give them a fine. It's out of hand.

Comically enough ticketing does happen, just not the way you'd want it to. I got a $50 dollar fine for a piece of trash that covered the sewer grate 2 properties down from mine. Didn't matter that the front of my house was spotless
