Description

Someone is illegally parking a tractor trailer overnight for days at a time in the strip mall at Beidler and Jasper. This is not an industrial park and it is not fair for neighbors to have to look at this eyesore constantly. Contacting the UMPD has been no use.

This truck has been parking there for almost 2 months now. Not only is it an eyesore in a residential development where children play and businesses are, there is a taxi cab parked right up Jasper as well. I think the truck and taxi are connected together. I know this has to be a violation of several ordinances in Upper Merion for homeowner's have been issued citations for box trucks and mobile homes. I do hope the owners of the shopping center can rectify the problem if the police can not. The shopping center is NOT a truck stop and should not be used as one.

If you think the commercial vehicle at Biedler and Jasper is a problem in King of Prussia, try driving down Bernard Drive---a residential street.

I live on Bernard and I don't see a problem with commercial vehicles. There is one white truck and it is legal and actucally slows down the cars that go too fast. And as for the truck, it is private property in a shopping center disctict. It is up to the shopping center owners to have it removed, not the police. I hope they move it so the kids skateboarding can come back and trash the parking lot up some more.

The owner of the shopping center fixed the problem, so the trailer will no longer be parked there.

The parking regulations only deal with on-street parking issues. It is not illegal for the truck to park in the mall. Try talking to the strip mall's owners.
