on 8th st NE there are now people parking close to the intersection with Monroe. the road does not seem wide enough to be able to handle cyclists on the MBT, parked cars as well as motorists. Especially if you consider the double yellow line indicating that motorists should not pass cyclists by entering the oncoming lane. Let's consider removing these two parking places near the intersection so it is safer for all people (especially cyclists) using this intersection. my vote is to remove the parking spaces and put in a protected bike path. Go MBT!
