Agreed that this needs to be addressed. Property has been abondoned for well over a year.

No answer form COH. Just keep reporting it on a monthly basis. Hopefully the squeaky wheel will get the oil.

I copied CM Cohen's office on the Request #. Will let you know if I get a response on that end.

Have been unsuccessful trying to get a resolution on this issue. Cannot find who the current owner is. COH has not answered inquiries & property continues to deteriorate.

It's very frustrating. Please contact council member Cohen's office too to make her aware of the issue and complaints. I emailed Traci with her office. But the more input the better. Today I saw a bandit sign in the front advertising a "i buy ugly houses" type company. Ugh.

Yard was mowed over the weekend. Talked to Cohen's office and the department of neighborhoods is going back by May 7th to monitor other 'citations'. I asked what happens at this point. She (Valerie) stated that the homeowner just continues to get citations if improvements are not made. So it was not the city who performed the mowing service this weekend - it must have been a nice neighbor or the mortgage company.

I wonder if the owner has died. Looked him up on HCAD. Owners name is Sammy P. Flanary. Says he is around 67 yrs.
