I moved to Brookside Ave. about a year ago, and I was horrified at the condition of the river. We cleaned up behind our house all summer last year, but it was pointless. Every day there is more garbage. Shopping carts, beer cans, bicycles, tires, broken glass, bricks, clothes, etc. It's no wonder I always see dead fish in there. Can we do ...anything?
