Description
I selected Cresent Dr. but Clearview Terrace and Clearview Drive are in the same dire condition. At least once a week a kid falls by trying to walk to there bus. I had delivery trucks refuse to navigate our roads. Everytime I bring it up I get played the "it's a private road" card. Our taxes are just like everyone else and what we want is a safe road!!

Clearview Terrace and Clearview Drive are private roads. Please read Ridgefield Code 310-58 (Municipal private road maintenance) posted on the Town of Ridgefield's website in the Department of Public Services - Highway link. It provides direction as to how private roads will be maintained by the Town and who is responsible.
Cresent Drive is not a private road - it is a Town road. If there are issues, please contact the Highway Department at (203) 431-2748.
