The city will be plowing tonight. I received notification from public works and traffic and parking that they are heading our way this evening. Just be sure to stay parked on the even side of the street. I know how frustrating and confusing this has been and appreciate your patience. We are almost there! Thank you Linden Street the compliment is greatly appreciated especially during these times. Spring is almost here!

Thank you Larry and Anna for letting us know they were still coming. They did arrive last night and did a great job of removing the snow from both Anderson and Willow Street. Send my thanks to the men and women who were putting in long hours yesterday in the snow plows.

The poster who thanked Larry and Anna is putting you on. It's now Saturday afternoon and the only plow that has come within whiffing distance of Anderson is a private one. The street remains untouched.

I just saw the plows on Cottage St. Looks like they are trying to make their way down toward Canner and Anderson. Hopefully it will be done by tonight.

It is 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and still no sign of the plows for anderson/willow/Canner. Le sigh. I understand that removing this much snow takes time, but if it isn't going to get done today could we notified by the city and given a set day and time this week for the removal? Tomorrow the schools open back up, meaning it will be more difficult to find even side only parking as we can't use the two local high school parking lots anymore.

3:00 PM on Sunday. Still no snow removal from the north end of Orange St, nor the majority of the adjacent cross streets.

Parts of Canner are horrible, especially at the intersection of Orange and Canner. Canner was even listed as one of the "39 streets prioritized by public safety [to] have a complete clear operation." I just want to know when and if East Rock is going to be cleared. I don't want to walk out to my car one morning and find it has been towed by the city with little to know warning given.

Does anyone know how to contact a human in the DPW or DOT to find out if plowing (and parking ban) will be continued into this week?

Anyone have an update on east rock and plowing? It was never acknowledged so I'm assuming we're just screwed.

This is truly a shame. East Rock abandoned yet another winter. So many streets have barely enough space for ONE car to drive down. Weather.com forecasts a possible severe winter snow storm - TITAN - this Monday, March 3rd. Will someone PLEASE acknowledge this issue??!! The last thing we need in East Rock is another dumping of significant snow on top of what still rests there.

I guess I can close it since it went 210 days without being acknowledged by the city.

But they may get to it..........eventually LOL

Still no recourse for actually enforcing tickets issued by the City for not clearing walks and throwing snow in the street. Maybe they need another 210 days.
