Description

We live in a new development called Ridgeview Falls (Manoah Ct, Dunwoody GA 30338) which is right off Ridgeview Road in Dunwoody. There are a total of 5 homes in our development and as of now, 3 are already occupied and the remaining 2 will be occupied by the end of March. The reason for our letter is to highlight some concerns of the residents of this neighborhood.
1) Our street (Manoah Ct) does not have any street lights to light up the neighborhood and from what we understand the City of Dunwoody has not required our builder to put any street lights in before the complete the neighborhood. This is very concerning to the current owner of ($850k – $1.1M) homes of this street, as it is extremely dangerous for residents and children of this development. To top that there are constantly pedestrians from neighboring communities that go for a walk in the evenings and cannot be seen even when driving at night.

2) A second issue is that the Ridgeview Road leading up to the community has been completely damaged and has large pothole causing people to dramatically steer away resulting in a potential accident prone area (especially when pedestrians are involved). Please note that this stretch of the area does not even have a side walk so the pedestrians are forced to walk right in the middle of the road. As noted above all homes on this street are $850k - $1.1M homes and driving over an unfinished road is unsettling.

We are asking the city of Dunwoody to look into these issues, please let us know if you need further information.

Thanking you in anticipation,

The Owners of Ridgeview Falls
