Sidewalk of residential building and kitchen area of John's never washed down. Need larger garbage cans for residential building and for John's. Also, John's and residential building need to wash down sidewalk several times a week to get rid of bakery residue and pigeon feces.

This issue was reported months ago and the problem continues to worsen. The dead tree and over grown pit really bring down the atmosphere outside the bakery. And the stretch of Rugby where Johns storage and the Coops's offices are just gets nastier. It is strange that such a great neighborhood business run by wonderful people shows such disrespect and indifference.

No this issue is not fixed. I can see from the seeclickfix map that there are 5 complaints about the Rugby side of John's bakery. The bakery does not respond to complaints. Maybe a few sanitation tickets would help the issue get solved.

The supervisor in charge investigated the area in the complaint. There were no conditions warranting a summons at that time of the inspection. The commercial refuse container was closed & not overflowing. Also, the residential receptacles are at the building line & not overflowing.

Has the inspector gone there on the weekend?

The dead tree was replaced with a new one in the spring and the new one is now dead, too. Tree pit continues to be overgrown and filled with litter. Residue from bakery on Rugby (residential side) never washed from sidewalk, which should be daily, since it is a commercial business. That section of Rugby smells from garbage (commercial and residential) and sidewalk is filled filthy not only from bakery, but from pigeons that eat from open bags left in bins by bakery. Still unclean and unkempt.

Leave the working class people alone.

In what way does requesting a business keep its sidewalks clean and upkeep a tree amount to bothering working class people?

I have tried to close this issue. It just won't work.
