Over a week ago it was noticed that a portion of the east facade of the Visitor Center's south wing facing Broadway has collapsed exposing a large hole under the soffit and other damage. The debris landed on a window sill and the ground. The debris has not even been cleared from the window sill and it appears that other sections near the damaged wall are also in danger. The mayor has gutted the Capital Budget and this is just one outcome of his refusal to address real needs.
