Description
after new paving on 214 west of 550 the base structural failed and the asphalt was removed. the contractor did not replace base and reasphalt. When will this be done.
Same item on the new paving from skyute pit to homedepot, base failed and repair is not done yet

There is an active slide on that section of County Road 214 where the asphalt was removed. Numerous attempts have been made to mitigate the slide, however the long term fix is unfortunately more than we can afford at this time. For now maintaining this short section in gravel is our only option.
We assume you are referring to the section of County Road 213 just south of Basin Creek. We patched the asphalt last summer, are watching this section of road and will make repairs again this summer.
