i travel in the city by bicycle .
i wonder how many homeowners on our side streets wonder why speeding car drivers are allowed to endanger us road users on our side streets why is the speed limit 30 mph the cars are going allot faster than this i have been run up on many times by speeders in an aggressive manner many times like i dont have the right to be using the road with my bicycle 30 mph is to high speed for bicycles to maintain i live on whipple st ,its like a race track .. 40- 45mph down whipple st and ridge st and many other side streets

I dont think that anyone is allowing people to drive like that, but the city doesn't have enough money for enough police - these types of things are what happen.
Most of the city commutes by car, this isn't a bike friendly city, so that's why they don't want you on the road.
