I am looking at a muddy ditch right across the street from me on Guernsey. The students constantly drive over the grass when their roommates block them in and when it rains, it just becomes a mudhole. It's a mess!

Thank you for sharing this issue. CSPD and the City's Traffic Management Team has been made aware of this issue and is looking for ways to stop this from happening. We are looking at putting up some kind of signage to let drivers know that they can not drive thorugh that area. We are working with our legal department to make sure whatever signage is put allows the police to cite and enforce what is noted on the sign. As soon as we have more infornation on where we are in this process, I will post it here.

I have reported this situation 2 differant times in the last 6 months. Nothing has ever been reported back from code enforcement or the CSPD

The City's Traffic System Division will install both a "No Left Turn" and a "Do Not Enter" sign to discourage motorists from using driving through this area as they have been doing. The signs will be installed by Friday of this week. We have to check to make sure there are no utility lines beneath where the signs will be located. That is being done today in preparation for the signs going up on Friday. CSPD will be patrolling the area more and will now be able to give citation when they see motorists cutting through this area.

Thank you very much for your efforts. This has long been an issue and hopefully this will stop it and allow the entrance to our neighborhood look more civilized.

This issue is now closing. Do Not Enter and No Left Turn Signs were put up on this past Friday, 2/14/14. CSPD is aware of the signage and will monitor the area for violators. Now that the signage has been put up, citations can be given to violators. Thank you for reporting this issue.
