Have you considered forwarding this issue to the City?
To raise the profile of this problem, you also might want to consider forwarding it to your neighbors using the "Send to Friend" button above. Sending it to the local bicycle coalition (or Livable Streets Boston) could also be a good move if this is a bicycle route, since they could have contacts who could take speedy action.
The more people concerned, the more likely it is that the issue will be fixed immediately.
