Description

Summit street was not snow plowed as of 6:35pm…..It's amazing how New Haven can turn a minor snow storm into a big storm by slacking on basic functions that have been done over the years. Great example of what we have to look forward to with our new mayor!

I don't understand why there's a parking ban since sometimes the plows either don't come thru or go around cars that are parked on the odd side of the street. It also would be useful to alternate sides of the street so those of us on the even side don't always get plowed in.

Yet Lexington had about 10 passes yesterday by the plows. I certainly would think common sense would dictate that one or two of those passes could have been made on Summit just for the fun of it.

Crews continued to sand and plow later into the evening and after the storm ended as well. Thanks for the feedback.
