Description
There are numerous cars that slide off the road into guardrail along this corner which is locally known as dead-mans-curve. (At least two killed here in the past.) Guardrail is newly replaced by county but traffic volume results in many cars sliding off road in inclement weather. Guard rail is the only savior to prevent more deaths from occurring. Local school bus drivers do not seem to be aware of the risks considering the excessive speed they round the corner every morning.

There is maintenance of the guard-rail required on this curve!
The guard-rail end-cap appears to have been dislodged by a plow at the south-end of the curve during this last winter. In the event of a vehicle losing control and crossing the centerline when travelling down-hill the protective there is an increased chance of "spearing" the vehicle with the end of the horizontal guard-rail sheet metal. This is because the end-piece now no-longer covers the full end of the horizontal guard-rail sheet metal.
