If the city really wants to revitalize the downtown area, why not start with razing this dilapidated,windowless hulk that is doing nothing except uglying an area that city leaders claim to want to bring back to life? I know two people who have received violation notices from the city because they have some paint peeling off their houses , but somehow structures like the Gel-Pak are allowed to stand in total disrepair for years. How does this city expect to be taken seriously by potential investors in the downtown area when the first thing anyone sees upon arriving downtown is a huge ,ratty building?
