Hi Steve, I don't think that's accurate. Many other original-Monday/this-week-Tuesday blocks had their recycling picked up. Also, our block had our trash picked up just not recycling. So the trash/recycling trucks were definitely out Tuesday morning doing trash/recycling pick up. This is NOT related to snow. They just missed the block, just like any other week where that could have happened. The city's announcement was referring to original-Tuesday/this-week-Wednesday. Our recycling should have been picked up, they just missed it, and not because of snow.

I am almost positive this is because of the snow. Some blocks had trash or recycling removed while others didn't. The trucks had to leave to start treating the roads.

Any remaining materials from regular Monday collections will be picked up on Thursday.

During major snow events Sanitation crews and equipment are diverted to
snow removal efforts. Trucks are converted to plow trucks as opposed to
collection vehicles. We regret this inconvenience and thank you in
advance for your patience and cooperation during this anticipated major
event.
