Would limiting Davis St traffic to a right turn only onto Whalley have any chance of working? Traffic signals can be awfully expensive (I would estimate that one traffic signal alone costs more than the entire yearly amount of the city budget devoted traffic calming, and ten times as much as my parents ever made in a year).
