This is still not fixed its just getting worse. I ha e already had to have the tie rods in my car fixed due to hitting pot holes. There are so many holes its unavoidable to not hit one. With my bad back and neck this makes it very hard and hurtful when I have to drive someplace.

This is still an ongoing problem and the holes are just getting bigger and more of them. I guess when the trash truck can’t get down the alley due to the holes and ruts then MAYBE something will be done. Maybe we should all send our car repair bills to the boro each time we have to get struts, shocks, suspension rods , tie rods, new tires and numerous front end alignments done. Maybe then they might swing by with some equipment to fix the alley. I realize that there are other repairs to be done but this is ongoing since 2011 when I first posted.

A few years later and still nothing is done except neighbors filling in holes with dirt to make it so it’s not as bad when you hit a hole. We had been told it was going to be taken care of but still we see nothing. We had all chipped in at one time to have it paved but had a landlord who owns a few homes on the block back out at the last minute. Hopefully soon we can see at least a few holes filled before winter sets in and they fill with ice making it tough for the elderly to get out of the alley.

And here we are in 2024 and yet still nothing has changed in this alleyway. I guess it will take for one of the boro vehicles or a trash truck to get damaged from one of the potholes in order for someone to even come out and take a look at it. After all putting in bike lanes are more important than fixing the roads in our town.
