This would not only serve to help relieve the burdon of the single family homeowners, and place it a little more on the absentee landlords, perhaps make an exception for homeowners who live in the multifamily dwelling) but also effectively increase the rent, creating a less desirable area for low income high crime people, which would eventually lead to a lesser need for public services further decreasing the need for tax revenue is Meriden.
